2021 RICKSHAW Chardonnay

During the season of 2021, California overall received almost no rain. The summer had mild temperatures which allowed for the fruit to hang a bit longer than usual. All of the vineyards and fruit load were managed according to how much water was available for that specific vineyard. There were a few hot spells early in the fall which quickened ripening and accelerated harvest season.

TASTING NOTES | The 2021 RICKSHAW Chardonnay is seamlessly bright. Aromas of pear, Golden Delicious apples, dried mango, and honeysuckle are complimented with hints of vanilla. There is a textured and layered weight on the mid-palate that leads to a pleasant oaky finish that is balanced with vibrant acidity, keeping the wine fresh.
