Rickshaw was created with one simple goal: to craft affordable wines that don’t compromise on quality. We chose the name “Rickshaw” because it represents effortless movement. Just like the classic rickshaw, it’s all about going through life with ease and purpose. Our wines are designed to be approachable, versatile, and enjoyable for any occasion.
We believe in striking a balance between great taste and sustainability. Our grapes come from 100% sustainable vineyards across California, allowing us to craft wines that are true to their varietal character. We keep things simple in the cellar with no heavy tricks, focusing on wines that reflect the quality of the land and the care that goes into every bottle.
Wines from 100% Certified Sustainable Vineyards
We source our Sauvignon Blanc from across Northern California, choosing vineyards that deliver both freshness and depth. It’s a wine that’s bright, lively, and full of character.
Our Chardonnay comes from California’s coastal vineyards where the cool Pacific breeze helps create the perfect growing conditions. It’s crisp, balanced, and reflects the unique influence of the ocean.
Sourced from cool-climate coastal vineyards with a big portion coming from the Sonoma Coast, our Pinot Noir is vibrant and smooth. It’s exactly what you want from a California Pinot.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend from several great regions, including Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Lake County, and Paso Robles. It’s rich, bold, and full of depth, showing off the best of what California has to offer.
Smarter Packaging
Rickshaw is excited to introduce new packaging in 2025 that showcases our sustainability credentials on label calling out 100% certified sustainable vineyards in red. Each label showcases an iconic California landscape and represents an element of nature as a reminder of the role nature plays in crafting each delicious bottle:
- Sauvignon Blanc – Water Crisp, refreshing CA ocean scape
- Chardonay – Air Bright, warm sunshine through the redwoods
- Pinot Noir – Earth Coastal fog over dewy, rugged mountains
- Cabernet Sauvignon – Fire Rich, fiery sky over Yosemite Valley
We are using smarter materials too:
- Lighter weight bottles – more efficient to transport which helps reduce our carbon footprint, also recyclable
- Labels are made of recycled materials and use soy-based inks that biodegrade faster than conventional labels
- Cork closure without capsules – more recyclable and less waste
- 100% recyclable cartons
