Sta. Rita Hills AVA
The Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County is one of California’s premier cool-climate viticultural regions. It is also one of California’s smaller AVAs with 99% of its territory falling within the larger Santa Ynez Valley AVA.

Rancho Santa Rosa – Lindsay and Courtney’s Vineyard East
The 460-acre Rancho Santa Rosa estate vineyard features 230 acres of vines that climb from 500 to 1,000 feet above sea level. The soils are maritime-based and the weather is consistently cool thanks to moist ocean breezes that sweep the property daily. The vineyard is farmed with the painstaking care and attention usually associated with much smaller vineyards. In fact, the Rancho Santa Rosa Vineyard was originally conceived as individual micro-vineyards delineated into 59 unique blocks based upon soil type, exposure, elevation, grade, rootstock and clone. Rancho Santa Rosa produces remarkably rich and silky wines.
Rancho Las Hermanas – Lindsay and Courtney’s Vineyard West
The majestic 500-acre Rancho Las Hermanas estate property features 205 acres of Pinot Noir (Lindsay’s Vineyard) and 52 acres of Chardonnay (Courtney’s Vineyard). It is a cool, rolling site that offers six distinct, limestone-based soil types. To take full advantage of the intricate terroir, Rancho Las Hermanas is planted to a combination of heritage, heirloom and other specifically selected clones.
