Named for late winemaker Patrick (Pat) Foley, this wine was crafted to embody his bold character, fun-loving personality and relentless spirit. Pat’s Blend is a Bordeaux style red wine, crafted from fruit grown on our Estate in Rutherford, Napa Valley.
Varietal composition: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot
TASTING NOTES
Upon opening, aromas of black currant and sweet licorice are present with notes of vanilla spice. Flavors of black cherry and dark plum fill the mouth with well-balanced acidity and a lingering slightly sweet finish. The long French oak aging regimen gives this wine a strong structure with ample aging potential.
