We really like to blend, but coming up with a name can be tricky. To stay with the river theme, we came across “Streamlet” (a natural body of running water smaller than a river), we liked it so it stuck. Our idea was to create a blend unique to Washington State.
Varietal composition: 60% Syrah, Walla Walla Valley; 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Mountain. Aged 15 months in 80% new French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
A blend of silky, wildly expressive Syrah and bold Cabernet Sauvignon, all from impressive vineyards throughout Eastern Washington. The 2020 Streamlet is a vibrant wine with rich aromas of fresh picked blueberries, leather and a hint of lavender. Intense blue fruit swirls on the palate with graham cracker and cocoa accents that encapsulate this complex wine.
