AROMAS & FLAVORS
This luscious ballet-pink wine has aromas reminiscent of strawberry tart and juicy watermelon. On the palate, bright acidity with notes of fresh white peach, cherry, and crisp grapefruit lingers on the clean finish. This wine is the perfect summertime wine for any occasion.
WINEMAKING
The fruit for the 2021 Rosé comes from two of our vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley. The wine is made from 100% Grenache that was fermented in stainless steel tanks using native yeasts. The wine was allowed to go through partial malolactic fermentation before being arrested and was filtered prior to bottling in December 2021.
VINTAGE
The 2021 was notably a cooler growing season with a late start to harvest. Early bud break and mild spring weather continued into a cool summer. The quality of the grapes were good and acid levels remained balanced due to the moderate weather. Tremendous team effort and coordination truly made this season possible. Our first pick was September 8th and completed on October 23rd.
