Patrick’s Vineyard is named after owner Bill Foley’s son. It is an exposed, rolling site in lower Carneros, close to San Pablo Bay. The cool, foggy, windy climate and marine soils at Patrick’s are ideal for full-bodied, well-structured Chardonnay.
Varietal composition: 100% Chardonnay. Aged for 16 months in French and American Oak, 33% new.
TASTING NOTES
Our 2019 Patrick’s Vineyard Chardonnay opens with lush and elegant aromas of coconut cream, ripe pineapple and vanilla spice. The palate is well rounded with layered flavors of creamy butterscotch, tropical fruit, and toasted oak imparted from the sur lie aging. This is a full-bodied Chardonnay that is rich in texture with a smooth, lingering finish.
