Vineyards

A vineyard designate pioneer in Sonoma County, Chateau St. Jean meticulously crafts luxury Sonoma wines, prioritizing exceptional vineyard sites across the county’s diverse appellations. Our focus on small-lot winemaking and a curated portfolio allows for precise fruit selection, reflecting the unique terroir of each vineyard. As pioneers of vineyard-designated wines, we remain committed to showcasing the pinnacle of Sonoma’s varietal expression.

Sonoma Valley

Chateau St. Jean Estate Vineyard

The St. Jean Estate Vineyard surrounds the winery and tasting room in Kenwood. The property consists of 270 acres with 90 planted acres of premium varieties. Cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, malbec, merlot, petit verdot, sauvignon blanc and chardonnay are planted. In select years, Chateau St. Jean produces a single vineyard cabernet franc, malbec, merlot and chardonnay from the vineyard. The Bordeaux varieties, merlot, malbec ,and cabernet franc, contribute to the winery’s flagship wine, Cinq Cépages.
